In early 2016, after working on hundreds of wonderful projects, we began executing all of our publicity campaigns under our new name: Public Display PR.

The bands we work with walk away from each release campaign having elevated their project through great publicity and with a comprehensive ongoing plan of action that encompasses touring, content release strategy, digital marketing, and how to maximize return on shows, press coverage, and more.

That’s because we’re more than just a boutique indie music PR company - we’re also an artist development agency. These two aspects, combined with our affordable campaigns and payment plans to fit the budget of growing artists, is what makes us the obvious choice for smart up-and-coming bands looking to take a step forward on solid ground.

We provide publicity campaigns for singles, EPs, full-length albums, music videos, national tours, and any combination thereof.

We enjoy warm, active relationships with a strong, always-growing list of music writers, entertainment journalists, and radio DJ’s everywhere from the most prominent national and international music blogs to high-profile local and regional blogs, newspapers, radio stations and podcasts.

Included in our plans are branding and photo/video consultation, timeline development, as well as EPK build and setup, social media consultation, project management, and constant communication and transparency so you and your team never feel left in the dark. Our multi-faceted approach ensures that our artists experience the full potential of our promotional efforts.

We are based in San Francisco, California but work with bands from all over the United States and beyond. We also have strong ties to the Portland, Oregon area, where we relocated from in 2020.
